A very small team travelled to Copenhagen, Denmark for the senior Sprint World Championships. Jenny Egan would be the only athlete competing for Ireland in the K1 500m and 5km. Jenny had an incredible 5k to come away with a Silver medal for Ireland! In a tough fought race all the way to finish line only 1.5secs separated the top 3.
