A very large team all consisting of Salmon Leap members attend the amazing world championships in Ponte De Lima, Portugal. The team was:
Junior Women’s K1: Eabha Ni Drisceoil & Kate O’Halloran
Junior Boys K1: Paul Donnellan & Ben Higgins
U23 Men K1: Ronan Foley Senior Womens K1: Jenny Egan-Simmons
It was fantastic competition with some truly world class races to be seen, team Ireland had some great races in some tough fields. Sadly Paul fell very ill in the run up to the event and did not finish. Well done to all on a great race to end the season.
