The Marathon Committee are delighted to announce the next race is our K1/C1 National Marathon Championships.This years racing will take place at Dripsey Channel in Cork which is one of the best Marathon racing venues in the country for both paddlers and spectators. The course consists of 4km laps with a grass beach style portage. Spectators can see approx 70% of the course from the start/finish area where the portages take place. The venue is on the grounds of Griffin’s Garden Centre which has ample parking a a lovely coffee shop. Below link has all race notice details. There is a class to suit everyone who wants to race, regardless of what type of boat you have so we would love to see as many people as possible come along.
