Great weather and good turnout. Thanks to Start / Finish official, Kevin Murphy. Results:
•Senior: Tony Curran
•Junior: Tom Brennan

19/Nov/08 - Castleconnell Wild Water Race

•Sprint results
•Classic results
•SLCC Junior men again dominated their class at both Sprint and Classic races in Castleconnell Co. Limerick at the weekend.
•Lorcan Feely's winning time in the Classic would have put him in 5th place in the Senior Mens Div 1 class.
•A dead heat on both days shows how close the racing was. Howevert the river was a little lower than we would have liked and mistakes were punished with damage to boats.
•A poor turn out for WWKC has allowed our Juniors to make back a lot of ground in the race for the Junior Points Trophy.

17/Nov/08 - Inny Wild Water Race

•Full results
•Congratulations to the SLCC juniors who have taken the first 5 places in Junior mens K1.
•Digger had an excellent second place in Div 1 and Kevin Murphy's tremedous achievement in coming second in Div 2.

11/Oct/08 - Second Junior Liffey Wild Water Race

•Full results
•A record number of paddlers competed in the second of the i-canoe.com Junior Series races on a flooded Liffey last Saturday morning. Wild Water racing is making great strides this year.
•Lorcan Feely and Aisling Conlan continue to dominate the K1 categories, while Daniel Grimes of Salmon Leap and Clodagh Mac Giolla Rua of Celbridge Paddlers have taken a commanding lead in the GP competitions.

04/Oct/08 - First Junior Liffey Wild Water Race

•Full results
•The race was organised by SLCC and was from above Temple Mills Weir to SLCC clubhouse.
•Lorcan Feely of SLCC had the fastest time of the day. 14 of the competitors were from SLCC. This is very good but WWKC had 16 which means that they are ahead in points after the first race in the 2008/9 season. There is an impressive trophy for the club with the most Junior points at the end of the year. We need a few more to take part.
•There were no women paddlers from SLCC who took part in the event.
